The Hippocrate Award competition highlights interdisciplinary and cross-sector teams that develop concrete innovations contributing to the improvement of health and social services systems. The recognized projects stand out for their ability to generate real value for users, professionals, organizations, and the general public.

The 2026 edition marks a significant evolution of the competition. More than just a recognition program, the Hippocrate Award now acts as an innovation accelerator that identifies, stimulates, and promotes promising projects capable of transforming practices, organizations, and healthcare pathways.

This year, the competition is paying particular attention to initiatives that:

  • promote the integration of care pathways, practices, and networks;
  • support the use of technology while preserving quality human relationships;
  • help the workforce adapt to new work realities;
  • generate measurable and sustainable results;
  • contribute to the development and consolidation of health and social services systems.
  • Building on its 16-year history, the Hippocrate Award is taking a new step forward in 2026 with an international focus aimed at promoting the sharing of best practices and supporting the local adaptation of promising innovations developed elsewhere in the world.

The award structure has also been revised to better distinguish the various drivers of transformation in health and social services systems. New categories have been created, notably in logistics and supply chain, skills transformation, and international innovation.

Teams from clinical, technological, scientific, academic, and organizational backgrounds are invited to submit their projects now!
