Applications are now open for the 2024 Hippocrates Award competition: It’s time to submit your value-creating healthcare project!
Dear friends passionate about healthcare,
We are very pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 14th edition of the 2024 Hippocrate Award. We seek to recognize and highlight innovative and transformative projects that contribute to improving the health and well-being of the Quebec population.
This year, exciting new features have been added to the competition to highlight projects directly linked to the health plan. Indeed, the Hippocrates Awards are given to interdisciplinary and intersectoral teams that have demonstrated their ability to innovate, create value, and generate a significant impact in the field of health. Whether you’re from the public, private, or nonprofit sector, your project may be eligible if it meets certain criteria.
Also new this year, applications are now being accepted in two separate categories to better accommodate the different stages of project development:
Transformative Project:
If your project has been in operation for at least 18 months, has demonstrated its validity during implementation, and has available data showing its effectiveness. It has potential for transferability, and evidence supports the project’s success.
Emerging Project:
Are you still in the proof-of-concept stage but already have promising preliminary results? This category is designed to support projects in development by offering them recognition and additional encouragement.
Important Dates to Remember:
- Applications open: April 3, 2024, at noon
- Application deadline: May 29, 2024, at 10:59 p.m.
- Evaluation and selection of applications by the jury: June 2024
- Hippocrates Awards Gala: October 17, 2024
