An Innovation That Continues to Expand

Stenoa has continued its momentum by integrating more hospitals and pre-hospital emergency services, creating a true digital network for coordinating time-sensitive care. Positive feedback from new hospitals and users is abundant, and the preliminary data we are seeing is also very encouraging. Winning a Hippocrates Award lends credibility to our developments and expands its reach across Quebec.

Concrete impacts

Stenoa’s acute myocardial infarction platform has demonstrated encouraging results. Last year, two studies were presented at Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) 2023 in San Francisco, the world’s largest interventional cardiology conference, demonstrating a reduction of over 20% in time-to-treatment metrics with the use of Stenoa, and a reduction of over 50% in false activation rates. These data were also recently published in the Canadian Journal of Cardiology Open (CJCO). This is a clear demonstration that this cloud-based technology, which is certified and approved by the MSSS Certification Office, enables the right patient to be directed to the right place at the right time, optimizing outcomes for both patients and the healthcare system.

A Long-Term Vision to Improve Care Coordination in Quebec

Stenoa’s acute myocardial infarction platform has already been deployed in several other CIUSSSs and CISSSs in the Greater Montreal area, and discussions are underway with various stakeholders across all regions of Quebec. In addition, Stenoa has expanded its cloud-based software to enable care coordination for other urgent and non-urgent clinical conditions and is currently piloting these applications with various clinical teams. Stenoa is also in the process of integrating with Epic (Epic Systems Corporation) and is positioning itself to improve the alignment of hospitals with pre-hospital services.
