The Hippocrate Council for Health Innovation

Bringing expertise together

to advance solutions.

What is still holding back health innovation—and how can we accelerate it?

The Hippocrate Council for Health Innovation brings together stakeholders, experts, decision-makers, leaders and researchers from the public, private and nonprofit sectors. They share a common goal: to work together, with a 360° perspective, to overcome the barriers that slow the implementation of innovations and limit their ability to create lasting value in health.

Collective insights grounded in experience

Drawing on the practical experience of projects recognized by Le Prix Hippocrate, along with the perspectives of national and international experts and decision-makers, the Council seeks to identify solutions to:

  • Better understand the barriers to implementing innovations.
  • Identify the conditions that support their success.
  • Accelerate their impact and support their long-term sustainability.

By bringing together diverse experiences and perspectives, the Council extends the mission of Le Prix Hippocrate: to act as a catalyst for innovation that creates value in health.

Coming together to advance health innovation

Focus groups and consultations have highlighted a shared desire to bring expertise together to overcome barriers to health innovation.

Building on these discussions, the first meeting of the Hippocrate Council for Health Innovation will take place on October 29, 2026, at lunchtime. It will provide an opportunity to deepen the discussions and identify priorities for collective action to advance lasting innovation.
