Montreal, October 18, 2024 \u2013 In what was a particularly talent-rich 14th edition, the Hippocrates Awards honored 18 exceptional projects at its awards gala last night at the St. James Theatre. These initiatives promote integrated, multidisciplinary, and multisectoral approaches covering the entire healthcare continuum, with the goal of providing better care and services to Quebecers.<\/p>\n
The awards ceremony, marked by growing attendance with 450 people in attendance, was held under the honorary chairmanship of Mr. Christian Dub\u00e9, Minister of Health, and Ms. Sonia B\u00e9langer, Minister for Health and Minister Responsible for Seniors. Alongside the honorary co-chairs, Ms. Christine Lennon, CEO of Incyte Biosciences Canada, and Mr. Jacques Demers, President of the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise des municipalit\u00e9s, each embodies an essential and complementary pillar related to health, reflecting the Hippocrates Award\u2019s commitment to broadening the vision of health and social services beyond its traditional network.<\/p>\n
This year, 128 projects were submitted, 50 more than in 2023: a record that attests to the vitality of the health sector and its drive to innovate.
